I recently moved in with my girlfriend, Jen, and her sweet male Dach, Bailey. He is a smart kind and loyal dog. But when I attempt to spend time with him, get near, pet, or even give him a treat he immidiatly tucks his tail in, curls in a ball, pees on the floor and runs away to a safe far away corner of the house. I’ve never physically scolded him at anytime by any means. On a realistic level, I know I’ll never have the relationship with him like Jen has, but what are my options as far getting him to warm up to me and stop fearing me when I approach and want to be playful. Please help!!!!
