What Is the Best Diapers for a Mini Dachshund?

It's clear to me I should have explained. The diapers are for an older dachshund who has an extra small bladder which is causing problems for her.
She has been to her vet and sees her when needed.

Good grief, I'm glad I own a Shepherd!

If he wasn't housebroken I'd need a 55 gal drum!

how about you dont ever use a diaper for a dog. train it on a training pad and gradually train it to go outside.

Dog diapers are generally used for bitches in heat. Spay her instead.

dog's aren't meant to wear diapers. be a responsible pet owner and walk your dog. i think that has to really mess up the dog's head.

It is clear that some folks don't understand what you need the diapers for. Use the brand called: my dog got spayed .

At petsmart they sell reusable diapers that you can put a pad in- I used pantyliners before I got my dog fixed, but I am sure you could use something more absorbent depending on how much she pees. I washed mine in the washing machine about 60 times & it is still holding up well- totally worth the money (I think about $15). If you buy 2 you can have an extra for when one is in the wash.

They sell disposable ones, or you could buy infant diapers and cut a tail hole out, but in my experience dogs usually seem to find their way out of those.

Also- If you try infant diapers make sure you buy the plain cheapo kind- if you get the ones with special absorbency gel or anything like that the stuff will fall out of the tail hole you have cut out & get all over your house. Found that one out….

    Sarah C's answer is great.

But have you taken the dog to the Vet for a checkup? Some older female dogs develop Urinary Incontinence as they age. However there is medication available which is relatively inexpensive that may make a big difference.

Hope everything goes well! GOOD LUCK!
