Great song! My dapple-dachshund and I listen to this first thing in the morning to get us going. What is the name of this song? Dasher seems to chew his rawhide with a bit more vigor as this Japanese lady sings along…

You can’t have too many doxies! We’ve had as many as six but we’re down to four now.

whoa, i only have two, but i do not mind having more like you or that man i passed by (in the video). are yours all related? at one point, when i was growing up, we did have ten, all related to each other (4 generations).

    I wish I had my …
I wish I had my doxies with me on that day, but they were at home. It was a very muggy day, which explained that man’s seven doxies were panting. Although the man had four of them tied together, he did not hold the leash at all. He carried the doxie pup and let the six roam free; yet, when they were about to bump into somebody, he said “Migi, migi, migi” (to the right, to the right . . . ), and as you can see, all of them moved a bit to the right, and then split to avoid that passerby.

is that why the four where tied together. Those where the other person. You’re welcome and have a lovely day?

My pack just consists of two doxies. Those seven ones belonged to the stranger in the street with whom I happened to cross path; quite a coincidence, so I filmed it with my phone camera (which explains the grainy result). Thanks for visiting!

    thank you for your …
thank you for your generous comment and compliments but the compliments should go to the old man with those seven dachshunds. i happened to run into this stranger as i was walking along omotesando-avenue in tokyo. i decided to follow him because i was amazed at how all six of them were untethered. with my own two dachshunds, i would not be afraid if the road was not so busy, but that man sure was brave to do it that way. as you can see, even the one that strayed away for a minute went back!

I love them so much …
I love them so much. They are all so well behaved and handsome and pretty. It is amazing how you can take 8 dogs out and only half of them are leashed. You are a GREAT pack leader. We have 3 and no way would they behave that well in public. I share my food with the babies too, but there’s no way an ice cream cone would have lasted as long as yours lasted!!! Give me more please! That is amazing video quallity from a phone-cam. Very still and not shaky for all the walking and following 8 dogs!. MJ
