How tall and how long? From head to tall how long? From head to floor and from back to floor how tall? (Standard dachshund not a miniature one!)
Thanks!
I’m not entering her in anything. I just want to see because she is a mix and stands just a little bit taller. I don’t know what she could be mixed with, any help? She is all black but has some white dots on her chest and belly.
Since you state that your dog is a mix, there is no telling how big she will be.
A standard dachshund can be any of a variety of heights and lengths even those that are purebred and bred for showing. It isn’t an exact measurement but a correlation between the length of back to the height from the ground. If you want to know what the correlation is, you need to go to the AKC standard and read what it says. However, none of this will apply to your dog since she is not a dachshund.

BOTH varieties & all 3 coats are judged by ************WEIGHT***********!!!!! NOT height!!!
Miniatures MUST be 11lbs.or less.
GO READ THE BREED STANDARDS AT THE AKC SITE!!!!
& NO BREED on the planet is measured length-wise!
ALL height standards are measured at the withers!!!!!
Then it’s a MUTT-period! Mongrels have NO standards & none can be guess-timated or predicted for *anything*-including what sort of mutt it might be!
Squirming around trying to a lie on it is useless & silly.

Bred and shown in two sizes, standard and miniature; miniatures are not a separate classification but compete in a class division for "11 pounds and under at 12 months of age and older." Weight of the standard size is usually between 16 and 32 pounds.

Without seeing your dog……what makes you think it is a Doxie mix? Could be a mix of many breeds…..
