My 6 month old dachshund seems to be sleeping a lot. She eats, plays, goes to the bathroom normally. But today, I noticed she’s slept a little more than usual. She’s big on naps.
Is normal for a 6 month old doxie to sleep a lot?

Puppies sleep A LOT. Actually most dogs sleep a lot unless you keep them busy or preoccupied. When they are little though, they often have spurts of energy followed by a long nap, then another spurt of energy and more sleep all day long. You may also have a laid back dog, which definately isn’t a bad thing.
